Had an absolute blast at the Scrapbook EXPO this year.  Figured out the parking secret - special info for only those who read my blog:   Go early and you can park in the garage under the Convention Center at the Gaylord!  We were able to park there the first few years and then as the EXPO got popular - we had to park way out in the garage on the north side of the hotel and ride the shuttle - it was awful and we were usually tired before we even got to the show.  The lot full sign was up and no one else was allowed to enter the garage for the rest of the day so GO EARLY and park where all the action is.   We always love the classes, visiting with favorite vendors, seeing new products and of course THE SHOPPING!

This year we found a new product from Diamond Ditz at the Kreative Kreations booth (kreativekreations.me)  This is a fabulous craft that will inspire the young and old and all of us in between.  We started with their $5 make and take of which you can choose from several designs and I choose the lady bug:

Everything you need to do this craft is in the kit.  No hunting for tools or additional supplies - just pick up your kit and get to it.

In the kit comes everything you see above.  The pre-printed canvas with adhesive, the separated and labeled flat back facet beads, the bead tray, the oh so special beading tool and the magical pot of wax.

You get started by dipping the tool in the pot of wax.  This makes it uber easy to pick up the beads and place them.  I can't wait to use this new tool and wax for all the rhinestones and bling I use in cards and scrapbooking - it makes this difficult task just a breeze!

You place the beads on the canvas in the proper place matching the grid they provide working a color or area at a time - however you like.

This is the finished project.  I can't wait to make a very special card out of this cute canvas.

These are all the beads that were left over from the kit so you can see that they provide you more than enough supplies.   I am completely hooked now and am ready to purchase some bigger and more challenging kits.   Hmmmm - should I go on their site now or wait till they come to the Arlington GASC in June?   Yep - they told us they will be there with a booth.  This is a incredibly fun new craft.  I thoroughly recommend giving it a try!
